Water Main Replacement in Warminster, Wiltshire

POSTED: June 25, 2018

Date: 19/06/2018

Site Address: Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12

Works: Water main replacement

Report:  We received this job a part of an insurance claim, the policy holder had several leaks in the past few years on her water main. So her insurance company had authorised a full replacement of the pipework leading to her property. In total we needed to install 13 meters of new pipework. We achieved this with 3 excavations and moling between these 3 pits. At the POE (Point of Entry) we used an insuduct box (An insuduct box is used to protect the pipe as it come above ground before bending into the property). Once the new pipe was installed we connected it, then tested the supply and confirmed there was no longer a leak on site. We back filled our 3 excavations and reinstated the concrete leaving the site in the same condition as we had found it. Once we had completed our works we asked the customer for her comments on the works that were carried out:

Like all our jobs, we try and offer the best service possible.
